At Charlotte Packe Lighting, we specialise in the artful crafting of oxidised metals, prioritising both sustainability and meticulous craftsmanship. By applying oxidised silver leaf and 23kt gold leaf, we achieve a rich, textured patina that enhances the inherent beauty of these materials. These metals are elegantly set against polished glass, creating a modern, reflective surface that contrasts with their aged appearance. Our fittings, made from solid brass, ensure each piece is durable and timeless. Additionally, some designs incorporate repurposed Norfolk Oyster shells as protective shields, establishing a tangible link to nature.

As some components are made by nature, each one will be unique.

I have worked here to compliment the darker oyster shells with oxidised silver leaf and little glints of 23kt gold leaf using the verre eglomise technique of hand gilding on glass. The glass has hand polished edges.

Every element embodies the principles of circular design, harmoniously combining natural materials with handcrafted artistry.
