A refined, sculptural light handcrafted from hand-carved wood and traditional gesso, finished with solid brass details. The Magnolia is designed to work as either a ceiling pendant or a wall-mounted feature, offering flexible placement while maintaining a cohesive, tactile presence.
Materials and craft
Hand-carved sustainably sourced hardwood, shaped to evoke the gentle form of magnolia petals
Multiple layers of gesso applied and burnished by hand to create a soft, matte surface that diffuses light subtly
Solid brass fittings and fastenings, polished for contrast and longevity
Hand-assembled in the UK using low-impact finishes and traditional techniques
