Norfolk Oyster Shell and brass tealights, created by lighting designer, Charlotte Packe. The series is ongoing, made with beautiful, native Norfolk oyster shells collected by Charlotte on North Norfolk beaches. The tea light holder is solid brass and each shell has it’s own distinctive sculptural character.
Carefully selected and placed, with a brass pearl.
Charlotte Packe is a lighting designer and artist, born in Suffolk and studied at Goldsmiths College. She has been working with lighting since 1990, creating lighting installations and designing bespoke luminaires for private and corporate clients as well as manufacturing small batch runs for selective retail outlets.
These wall sconces create a striking sculptural presence and an honour to natural materials, beautiful relics.
Dimensions: Mirrored polished brass asymmetrical back plate is 13cm x 18cm and is hand patinated to near black with solid brass cup to hold standard tea lights.
